The Mathom House is a building similar to a museum. It is home to objects and rare oddities the Hobbits call "Mathom." Stories about its owner, the Mathom Peddler, have long been told in the Shire. Some claim the Mathom House has been open for generations, others call the Mathom peddler a traveler who has traversed all of Middle-earth, and some even say that he is the mastermind pulling the strings behind all major forces in Middle-earth...

Contestants enjoy the freedom of creation, but their entries must be derived from

the original works of J. R. R. Tolkien and conform to the middle-earth background setting.

Tacticians who submit valid entries will be publicly announced on Mathom Mastermind and displayed in-game,

with their signatures attached to their entries.

During the event, the official team and player representatives will select 2 Tacticians as winners of the trip to the Hobbiton, where they can explore the real world of Middle-earth! We'll offer the 2 winners plane tickets to New Zealand and tickets to Matamata, where The Lord of the Rings was filmed. Join the event and win the trip to the Shire!

Middle-earth Writer (1 Winner)

The official review team will evaluate all valid entries and select the winner based on the following factors: content, wording and writing style, plot logic, text readability, and fluency.

The Chosen One (1 Winner)

The official team will select player representatives from the global community to vote for their favorite entries. The winner will get this award.

Fellowship Award

3 candidates will be selected for each award based on content and creativity. The winner will be determined by the global community and get 4,000 in-game gems as a reward:

Spinner of Suspense (1 Winner)

No one can guess what is hidden in a Hobbit's pocket, just as no one can guess where the twists and turns of this tale will finally lead.

Master of Merriment (1 Winner)

The most charming storyteller with a knack for making everyone laugh.

Lifelike Portryal Award (1 Winner)

Show all of Middle-earth your unparalleled genius with a tale accompanied by magnificent images or a video.

Contribution Award (80 Winners)

When there are 100 contributors, 20 community followers will be randomly selected to get 400 gems
When there are 300 contributors, 20 community followers will be randomly selected to get 600 gems
When there are 500 contributors, 20 community followers will be randomly selected to get 800 gems
When there are 1,000 contributors, 20 community followers will be randomly selected to get 1,000 gems

Interaction Award (10 Winners)

10 Tacticians, who have followed our official The Lord of the Rings: Rise to War fan page, and liked the Mathom Mastermind post, will be randomly selected to get a $50 shopping card each! Come and follow us, take part in the event, and get the latest information on the Mathom Mastermind event!

You can make multiple submissions, but each entry can win only one prize. If an entry wins multiple prizes, only the highest prize will be sent. The cancelled prizes will be sent to other candidates according to the entry rankings.

The rules of this event have been specified in detail. By participating in this event, participants agree to accept all of the rules of the event. In the event of any violation of this event's rules, the organizer may cancel the violator's participation qualification and deal with the violation according to applicable laws, as the case may be. The Lord of the Rings: Rise to War reserves the right to modify, change, reinterpret, and/or cancel the event. Any changes will be announced via our official social media accounts without prior notice.

After the results are announced, winning participants must take the initiative to privately message the official account within seven working days and provide complete relevant information (such as name, receiving address, account information, and telephone number). Winning participants who fail to provide correct and complete relevant information, thereby impeding the host and co-organizers from notifying or sending out prizes when the event ends, will be deemed to have forfeited eligibility to win a prize. The organizer will not notify participants and assumes no responsibility.

The details and specifications of the prizes are subject to the actual products. Winners are not allowed to request replacement or transfer of awards. In the event that a product is unavailable or there are other unforeseeable circumstances beyond the organizer's control, the organizer reserves the right to replace prizes with a prize of equal value without prior notice.

NetEase reserves the right of final interpretation for this event.

According to local tax laws and regulations, this prize shall be included in your net personal comprehensive tax for the whole year. If you need to withhold income tax or other tax payments, please declare the corresponding details truthfully. The withholding voucher will be sent to the winner by "The Lord of the Rings: Rise to War". Please be sure to declare your tax situation according to the facts.

In addition, winners must provide and complete their corresponding information and submit copies of the front and back of their corresponding identification documents and the reward confirmation form. Winners who do not agree to pay the related tax, or do not fill in and provide the relevant information and copies of the required documents and certifications will be deemed as having waived their right to claim the prize, and shall not object to this ruling.
